Jodie has worked in the fitness and health industry forever. She has competed in it, off and on, since 1997. Before that she was a runner and tri-althlete. She has researched and personally tried every diet/nutrition plan under the sun. As a trained biologist, the research part of any plan is an absolute requirement. She become an expert on every plan before adopting any of it with her clients or herself. At this point in her life she can safely say she is a guru of nutrition and is passionate about helping others with their nutritional goals and programming.
A personal note from Jodie:
“After years of eating whatever was in the supermarket or in the freezer aisle from major diet companies, I finally decided that I no longer wanted to put ANY junk into my body ever again. I gave up anything processed, anything that contained chemicals, and anything that wasn’t organic. After that big change, I started to feel considerably better. That’s when I stumbled upon the Paleo diet. I read up so much on the plan that I became quite an expert on the topic and wrote a book on the plan. For years I was strict Paleo, but the philosophy of the Paleo diet is that you eat whatever you want, at whatever quantity, as long as you adhere to the the specific food list guidelines. That’s when I found macro planning. Learning about macros helped me to refine my diet and own what it was to eat macronutrients while taking my body size, exercise regime, and daily caloric expenditure into account. Finally, after quite a while experimenting with macros I began to focus my studies on supplementation. Today, I have fine tuned the art of eating pure foods from the Earth, with calculated macronutrients that match my caloric expenditure, on top of proper supplementation. This can be seen dramatically in my before and after pictures. I’m happy to share my years and experience of trial and error with you and help you get the body and wellness that you deserve.”
